Who is eligible to apply for the Qatar Government Scholarships?
Only Qatari citizens are eligible to apply. Applicants must meet academic, age, and admission requirements depending on the degree level (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD).
Can I study abroad with this scholarship?
Yes. The scholarship allows students to study at internationally recognized universities abroad, provided their chosen field and institution are approved by the Ministry. This applies to the Delegation Abroad and Amiri tracks.
Is IELTS or any English test required?
Yes, in most cases.

Graduates are expected to work in Qatar’s public sector, fulfilling a service bond. This aligns with the scholarship’s purpose of building national capacity in key fields.
Can employed individuals apply?
Yes, for Master’s and PhD programs. However, they must:

Can I defer or change my program after applying?
