You must select three eligible master’s programs and secure at least one unconditional offer by July 2025 to remain eligible for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship, you must:

Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory
Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 honours (upper second-class)
Have at least two years of work experience (2,800 hours total) — this can be paid, voluntary, part-time, or internships
Apply to three eligible UK master’s courses and receive at least one unconditional offer by July 2025
Be willing to return to your home country for a minimum of two years after completing your degree
Not hold British citizenship or dual nationality with the UK
Not have previously studied in the UK with UK government funding

Note: English language requirements vary by course and university. Chevening itself does not require IELTS, but your chosen university might.
