    • Asia & Africa: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
    • North America & Europe: Applications from Canada, France, Portugal, and the USA are accepted only if the applicant is originally from one of the countries listed above.
    • United Kingdom Exclusion: The Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship is not available for students applying to study in the UK.

    How to Apply for the Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship? (Step-by-Step Guide)

    📍 Step 1: Obtain the official application form from the Aga Khan Foundation offices, Aga Khan Education Services (AKES), or Aga Khan Education Board (AKEB) in your country.

    • The final decision is made by the Aga Khan Foundation’s Scholarship Selection Meeting in June or July.
    • Successful applicants will receive funding for the full duration of their degree (up to two years for Master’s programs and first two years for PhD programs).
    • Repayment Terms: 50% of the scholarship amount must be repaid over five years, beginning six months after graduation or withdrawal from studies.
    • A guarantor is required to co-sign the loan agreement.
