About Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for Education
The program combines virtual workshops with in-person sessions to help founders refine their business strategies, engage with new customers and markets, and utilize emerging AI technologies ethically and effectively. Two in-person sessions are planned, with locations to be announced, providing valuable face-to-face networking and learning opportunities. The majority of the program, however, will be conducted online, offering flexibility and a broad reach.

Entry Criteria
Ideal candidates are seed to Series A startups based in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, but poised for global expansion. Startups should be leveraging AI to tackle educational challenges such as reskilling, executive education, and coaching, demonstrating clear user engagement and revenue generation. A scalable product or service with a significant market opportunity and a sustainable growth model is crucial.
Program Commitment
Founders are expected to dedicate 1-2 hours per week for mentorship and group sessions during the initial three months. Post this period, ongoing support will be tailored to the startups’ specific needs. Participation in two mandatory two-day in-person sessions is required for at least one co-founder.
