Aimed at kickstarting the academic journey of students commencing their distance learning programme in the 2024-25 academic session, this scholarship embodies LSHTM’s commitment to educational inclusivity and excellence.

Eligibility Requirements for LSHTM First Generation Scholarship
To be considered for the LSHTM First Generation Scholarship, you must:
- meet minimum English language requirements;
- must hold an offer of admission by 6 April 2024.
- hold an offer of admission for 2024-25 for one of LSHTM’s 6 distance learning MSc programmes of study;
- The first in their family to enter higher education, meaning where neither of the applicant’s mother or father (biological, adoptive or foster) or guardian(s) had graduated with a university degree
- You will not be eligible for the First Generation scholarship if you already have a master’s degree, or a qualification that’s higher than a master’s degree.
