About this scholarship
The University of Bologna, the oldest university in the Western world (founded 1088), offers needs-based study grants through the ER.GO regional agency for international students. These grants cover tuition, provide a cash allowance, and include free meals and housing. Italy offers a relatively affordable cost of living and the University of Bologna is renowned for law, political science, medicine, engineering, and humanities.
Eligibility
Must be enrolled or enrolling in a degree program at the University of Bologna. Must meet income and asset thresholds set by ER.GO (thresholds are based on the ISPE and ISEE indicators). Must maintain minimum credit requirements each year (varies by degree level). Open to both EU and non-EU international students.
