About this scholarship
The Chevening/GREAT Scholarships are a joint initiative between the UK Government’s Chevening program and the GREAT Britain Campaign, in partnership with selected UK universities. These scholarships provide full tuition fee coverage for one-year Master’s programs at specific UK universities for applicants from eligible countries. Each Chevening/GREAT scholarship is linked to a specific university and country, making them more targeted than the main Chevening Scholarship. Approximately 200 Chevening/GREAT scholarships are offered annually across 50+ countries.
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of an eligible country with Chevening/GREAT partnerships (varies by year)
- Must meet all standard Chevening eligibility requirements: at least 2 years of work experience, an undergraduate degree, willingness to return home for 2 years
- Must apply to the specific university/program linked to the Chevening/GREAT scholarship for your country
- Must meet the English language requirements of the chosen university

Same as Chevening Scholarship: Completed online application with four essays, CV/Resume, Academic transcripts and degree certificates, Two references, Proof of work experience, English language test results (IELTS), Unconditional offer from the partner university (required after conditional selection), Valid passport copy
