About This Scholarship

Commonwealth Scholarships are funded by the UK government through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC). They enable talented and motivated individuals from Commonwealth countries to pursue postgraduate study at UK universities. The programme has funded over 30,000 scholars since 1959. Several scholarship categories exist including Master's, PhD, Split-site PhD, and professional fellowships. Scholars are expected to return home and contribute to their countries' development.

Benefits

• Full tuition fees at a UK university, monthly stipend for living costs (currently £1,347 per month, or £1,654 in London), return economy airfare, warm clothing allowance, thesis grant for research students, excess baggage allowance, study travel grant for research fieldwork, family allowance for dependants if applicable
