The DAAD Helmut Schmidt Programme (formerly Public Policy and Good Governance) supports future leaders from developing and emerging countries who wish to pursue a Master's degree in the fields of public policy, governance, and related areas at German universities. Named after the former German Chancellor, this program aims to build professional and academic networks to promote good governance globally. Approximately 50 scholarships are awarded per year across several participating universities.
