The University of Edinburgh offers Global Research Scholarships to the strongest international PhD applicants. The scholarship covers the difference between home and international tuition fees, making a PhD at Edinburgh significantly more affordable.

International (non-UK) students applying for a full-time PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Outstanding academic merit and research proposal.

• First apply for admission to a full-time PhD research programme at the University of Edinburgh
• Then complete the online scholarship application by the deadline (around 1 February); the form is only accessible once you have applied for admission
