About this scholarship
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is a prestigious French government scholarship managed by Campus France. It is designed to attract top international students to French higher education institutions for Master’s and PhD-level studies. The program targets students in science and engineering, economics and management, law, and political science. French institutions nominate candidates — students cannot apply directly. Approximately 400 scholarships are awarded each year.
Eligibility
Must be a non-French citizen. Maximum age of 25 for Master's applicants and 30 for PhD applicants. Must not have previously received an Eiffel scholarship. Must be applying for a Master's or PhD program at a French institution. For Master's: should not already have been studying in France for more than one academic year. For PhD: co-supervision (cotutelle) between a French institution and a foreign institution is required.

How to Apply
- You cannot apply directly to Campus France; only a French higher education institution can submit your application
- Foreign-national candidates (not French) up to 29 at master's level or up to 35 at PhD level apply through the French host institution
- The institution selects and submits the candidacy to Campus France by the deadline (around early January)
