About this scholarship
Invest Your Talent in Italy is the Italian government’s career-focused scholarship, funding English-taught master’s degrees in engineering, economics and management, or design and architecture at top Italian universities, with a mandatory internship at an Italian company built into the program. Winners receive about EUR 10,800 across nine months plus a full tuition waiver, with renewal possible for two-year degrees.
Eligibility is limited to 23 countries including Bangladesh, India, Turkey, Egypt, Ghana and Ethiopia (Pakistan and Nigeria are currently not on the list). The 2026 call closed on May 11, and the next edition is expected in spring 2027 on a similar timeline.
Eligibility
- Citizens and permanent residents of the 23 program countries: Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Mongolia, Paraguay, Peru, China, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay and Vietnam.
- Note that Pakistan and Nigeria are not on the current country list, so applicants from there should look at the Italian Government MAECI scholarships instead.
- A qualification valid for enrolment in a participating master's or postgraduate course; current undergraduates are not eligible.
- English at B2 minimum (a degree taught in English can count as C1 proof).
- A pre-admission application to one of the English-taught IYT courses in engineering and high technologies, management and economics, or design and architecture.
- Not currently studying at an Italian university and not holding an Italian degree.

Required Documents

- A one-minute motivation video, a distinctive IYT requirement worth preparing well.

- Upload all documents in English, Italian, French or Spanish with official translations where needed.
- Selected candidates are notified in summer and have only three days to accept, so watch your email closely.
- Winners enrol for the autumn semester and complete the built-in company internship during their studies.
