About this scholarship
The Jardine Foundation, established in 1982, offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate study at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Scholarships are available to citizens of specified Asian countries and territories. The Foundation seeks well-rounded individuals with academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to giving back to their communities. Approximately 20-25 scholarships are active at any time.
Eligibility
Must be a citizen of one of the following: mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, or South Korea. Must be applying for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at Oxford or Cambridge. Outstanding academic record. Demonstrated leadership and extracurricular involvement. Financial need may be considered.

How to Apply
- Be a national of an eligible country (Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam)
- For undergraduate study, apply to Oxford or Cambridge via UCAS and submit the Jardine Foundation online application by its deadline (around October); postgraduates are recommended through the preferred colleges after admission
- The award is conditional on gaining a place at one of the Foundation's preferred Oxford or Cambridge colleges
