About this scholarship
The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program at Stanford University is the largest fully endowed scholars program in the world. It provides up to three years of funding for any graduate degree at Stanford.
Eligibility
- Open to citizens of all countries
- Must apply to any full-time Stanford graduate degree program (MBA, JD, MD, MA, MS, PhD, etc.)
- Completed bachelor's degree within the last 7 years

Required Documents
Stanford graduate application, Knight-Hennessy supplemental essays, Two recommendation letters, Transcripts, Resume/CV, Test scores (GRE/GMAT/LSAT/MCAT as applicable)
How to Apply
- Be a citizen of any country, applying within a few years of your first bachelor's degree (you must hold the equivalent of a US bachelor's by enrolment)
- Submit separate but concurrent applications: one to Knight-Hennessy Scholars (online, with essays, transcripts, resume, and two references) and one to a full-time Stanford graduate degree programme
- Submit the graduate application by the Knight-Hennessy December deadline; admission to a Stanford graduate programme is required
