Supports academically talented yet economically disadvantaged young people from Africa to complete their education at world-class universities. Partner institutions include universities in Africa, the US, Canada, and Europe.

How to Apply
- Be a citizen of an African country (no second citizenship from outside Africa), academically strong with leadership and community commitment but facing financial barriers (age limits around 29 for undergraduate and 35 for master's, extended for refugee/disability categories)
- Apply directly through a Mastercard Foundation partner university; each partner manages its own admission, deadlines, and selection
- First apply for admission, then complete the separate Scholars Program application at that institution
