About this scholarship
New Zealand government scholarship for students from selected developing countries.
Eligibility
- Citizens of eligible partner countries in the Pacific, Asia, Africa, and Latin America
- Must return to home country after completion
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience preferred

- English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+)

- Statement of purpose / Motivation letter
- Publications list (if any)
How to Apply
- Be a citizen of an eligible developing country in the Pacific or Asia, aged 18+ at the start, who has lived in your home country for the two years before applying and commits to returning home for at least two years after study to contribute to its development
- Study full-time in a priority field at an eligible New Zealand institution (or a Pacific university for some Pacific scholars)
- Register and apply online through the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship system during your country's application window (around March) with your documents and a statement of your development-impact plans
