OAS Academic Scholarship

The Organization of American States funds scholarships for citizens of OAS member states to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at universities throughout the Americas.

• Citizens of OAS member states (35 countries in the Americas)
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong academic record
• Admitted to or enrolled in a university in the Americas

• Full or partial tuition
• Monthly subsistence allowance
• Round-trip airfare
• Textbooks
• Health insurance

• Be a citizen or permanent resident of an OAS member state who already holds a first (bachelor's) degree, pursuing full-time graduate study or research at a university in an OAS member state other than your own country, with a GPA above the host university's minimum and the required language competence (studies in Medical Sciences and Foreign Languages are excluded)
• Complete and submit the OAS online graduate application via the OAS Fellowship Management System with transcripts, references, and supporting documents by the deadline
• This is partial funding (up to about US$10,000), so applicants must show additional funds for living costs
