About this scholarship
The Reach Oxford Scholarship (formerly the Oxford Student Scholarship) is offered by the University of Oxford to support students from low-income countries who, for financial or political reasons, cannot study for a degree in their own country. It is one of the few fully funded undergraduate scholarships at Oxford open to international students.
The award is fully funded, covering full course fees for the duration of the degree, an annual grant for living costs, and one return airfare per year, renewed each year subject to satisfactory progress. Eligibility is for nationals of a country on the OECD DAC list of aid recipients who are unable to fund study at Oxford, applying for (or holding an offer for) an undergraduate course other than Medicine, pursuing their first undergraduate degree, with an excellent academic record meeting Oxford’s entry standards. You first apply to Oxford via UCAS by the October deadline, sit any required admissions tests and interviews, and then submit the Reach Oxford application when it opens in January; selection takes place in spring with results by the end of May. For students from developing countries, it is a rare, fully funded route to an Oxford undergraduate degree.
