The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation supports international students studying at German universities who are committed to social justice, democracy, and anti-discrimination.

How to Apply
- Be a student (German or international, all nationalities) with above-average academic achievement and demonstrated social/political engagement aligned with the foundation's values, with at least B2-level German
- Be enrolled at (or, for doctoral candidates, accepted by) a state-recognised German higher education institution; the foundation gives preference to women, students of non-academic or migrant backgrounds, the socially needy, and people with disabilities
- Apply online through the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung website (forms are in German) by the deadline (1 October for funding starting the following summer semester); provides a monthly stipend plus allowances, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office
