About this scholarship

The Rotary Foundation sponsors up to 130 fellows annually to study at one of its peace centers at leading universities worldwide (Duke, UNC, ICU Tokyo, Uppsala, Queensland, and others). Focus on peace and conflict resolution.

How to Apply

  • Be a professional with at least three years of relevant full-time work/volunteer experience and a completed bachelor's, committed to peace and development, not an active Rotary member, and not currently enrolled in a degree programme
  • Apply online through the Rotary Peace Fellowship application (open February to 15 May), ranking your two preferred Rotary Peace Centers (Duke/UNC USA, ICU Japan, Bradford England, Queensland Australia, Uppsala Sweden) and engaging with a local Rotary club/district
  • If selected (notified around November), apply separately for admission to the host university; this cannot be used for doctoral study. Fully funded (tuition, fees, room and board, travel, internship/field study)
