About this scholarship
ScottishPower Foundation funds scholarships for international students to pursue energy and sustainability-related Master’s programs at Scottish universities. Supports the transition to clean energy through education.
Eligibility
International students admitted to an eligible energy/sustainability Master's program at a Scottish university. Strong academic record. Interest in renewable energy and sustainability.

How to Apply
- Hold (or expect) at least a 2:1 Bachelor with Honours or a master's from a recognised university, of any nationality (home or international), planning a one-year master's in an eligible energy-related field (electrical, mechanical, civil, electronic engineering and related STEM such as computer science, data analytics, or software) at a participating UK university
- You must not hold another scholarship/award during the period or have previously been funded by ScottishPower, the ScottishPower Foundation, or another Iberdrola-group company
- First apply to your chosen UK university for the master's, then complete the ScottishPower scholarship application via its portal by the deadline (around late March); selection includes online testing/assessments and an assessment centre. Covers full tuition plus a monthly stipend (about GBP 1,200/month)
