Thai Government Scholarship

The Royal Thai Government Scholarship is offered through the Office of the Higher Education Commission to attract talented international students to study in Thailand. Thailand’s universities, particularly in tropical agriculture, traditional medicine, and tourism management, offer unique academic opportunities not available elsewhere. • Citizens of ASEAN countries and other nations with diplomatic relations with Thailand
• Age under 35
• Strong academic record
• Study field aligned with Thailand's development priorities
• Thai or English language proficiency depending on program

• Full tuition fees
• Monthly living allowance of THB 40,000
• Round-trip airfare
• Accommodation allowance
• Health insurance
• Thai language course (if needed)

• Valid passport (min 6 months validity)
• Bachelor's and Master's degree certificates and transcripts
• Research proposal (2-5 pages)
• Two academic reference letters
• English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+)
• Updated CV/Resume
• Statement of purpose / Motivation letter
• Publications list (if any)

• This is the Thailand International Postgraduate Programme (TIPP), a government-to-government scholarship for master's study at partner Thai universities in themes such as Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, health, food security, climate resilience, and other SDG areas
• Be a citizen of an eligible partner country and (usually) a government employee, nominated by your country's National Focal Point for International Development Cooperation (e.g. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) or relevant central government agency
• Complete the online application form on the TICA website, then submit the form and endorsed documents (in English) through the Royal Thai Embassy/Consulate accredited to your country by the deadline (each country may nominate up to about five candidates per course). Fully funded: tuition, monthly stipend, accommodation, return airfare, insurance, and allowances
