How to Apply
- Be a new international student entering the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta on a study permit, with a strong admission average (and, for the most competitive distinction awards, demonstrated leadership)
- For admission-based entrance scholarships (such as the International Student Scholarship and the President's/Chan Pang Kuen International Distinction Scholarships) there is no separate application: apply for undergraduate admission, meet the academic and English-language requirements, and you are automatically considered
- Some additional awards require a separate application through the Awards Hub by the deadline. Note UAlberta does not offer full undergraduate scholarships; award values vary and selection is competitive
