University of Calabria International Scholarship

The University of Calabria offers fully funded scholarships for international students to pursue Master’s and PhD programs. Located in southern Italy, the university provides a low cost of living alongside generous financial support.

International students (non-Italian). Strong academic background. English or Italian proficiency depending on program. Must be applying for the first time.

• Monthly allowance of approximately €900 for living expenses

• Be a non-EU student residing abroad who holds (or will obtain) a university degree from a foreign institution valid for admission to a master's in Italy, meeting the chosen programme's admission and English-language requirements
• Apply through the UnicalAdmission call: register on the Esse3 portal, select your eligible English-taught master's under the Call for Extra-EU Students, pay the small application fee (around EUR 10), and upload your bachelor's degree, transcripts, and documents by the deadline (around April)
• Selection is merit-based on qualifications. The scholarship covers tuition plus free board and lodging and an allowance (around EUR 3,600)
