How to Apply
- Note that USP is a public university that does not charge tuition fees to any student, including international students
- Degree-seeking international students gain admission through USP's selection processes (and may apply via programmes such as PEC-G for undergraduate or PEC-PG for graduate study, administered by the Brazilian government for students from partner countries in Latin America, Africa, and elsewhere) and secure living-cost funding through national research agencies (such as FAPESP, CAPES, and CNPq) or PEC-PG scholarships
- For graduate study, first contact a prospective supervisor, then apply through the relevant programme's selection and, where applicable, submit the PEC-PG application via the Brazilian Embassy. Tuition is free; scholarships cover living costs where awarded
