VinUniversity Scholarship

VinUniversity, a private university in Vietnam founded by Vingroup in partnership with Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania, offers a range of scholarships and financial aid to undergraduate students, including international students. The awards combine merit scholarships, need-based aid, and a tuition subsidy in a global curriculum taught in English.

Support varies by award. Merit scholarships include the President’s Excellence Scholarship (a full ride covering 100 percent tuition plus living expenses and about 1,500 US dollars), the Provost’s Merit Scholarship (100 percent tuition), and the Dean’s Distinction Scholarship (80 to 90 percent tuition); need-based financial aid covers 50 to 80 percent of tuition, and a 35 percent Vingroup tuition subsidy applies to admitted students who do not receive a merit scholarship. Awards run for the full undergraduate degree, renewed each year on meeting the criteria.

Eligibility is open to international students of all nationalities admitted to a VinUniversity undergraduate programme, with outstanding academic performance plus qualities such as creativity, ambition, and resilience (for merit awards) or demonstrated financial need (for need-based aid); study is English-taught and no separate scholarship application is required. You submit the online undergraduate admission application through the VinUni portal, upload transcripts, essays, test scores, and references, and all admitted applicants are automatically assessed for merit scholarships (apply separately for need-based aid if required). For international undergraduates aiming at Vietnam, VinUniversity offers strong, well-supported scholarships.
