About this scholarship

Visegrad Fund provides scholarships for students from V4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) and partner countries to study at universities in the V4 region.

Eligibility

  • Citizens of V4 countries, Eastern Partnership, Western Balkans, and other partner countries
  • Master or PhD level
  • Strong academic record

How to Apply

  • Be a master's or post-master's student/researcher who has completed at least a bachelor's (or six semesters of higher education), applying for academic mobility of one or two semesters at an accredited host institution in the Visegrad region (Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) or the Eastern Partnership/Western Balkans countries, where your country of citizenship and your previous degree's country both differ from the host country (and the host is more than about 150 km from your home institution/residence)
  • Secure at least preliminary acceptance from a host institution, then submit a single online application via the My Visegrad system by the deadline (April 15), uploading your ID, transcripts, acceptance letter, and study/research plan (in English or translated)
  • Funding is around EUR 3,500 per semester for the scholar (plus EUR 2,000 per semester to the host institution)
