VUW International Scholarship

Victoria University of Wellington offers competitive scholarships for international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The university is ranked #1 in New Zealand for research intensity.

• Strong academic record (B+ average or above)
• Valid for any faculty and program

Tuition fee scholarship of NZD 10,000-25,000 depending on level and program. Renewable for the duration of the degree.

University application, Academic transcripts, Degree certificates, English proficiency (IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent)

• Be a new international full-fee-paying student entering, full-time and on-campus, the first year of a bachelor's degree (VUW Undergraduate International Scholarship) or a master's degree/postgraduate diploma (the master's/PG international scholarship) at Victoria University of Wellington, demonstrating academic potential through your admission
• Apply online through the university's scholarships system (CommunityForce) by the closing date with the required documents (applications usually open some weeks before the deadline)
• Awards are competitive on academic merit and are credited toward tuition fees for one year (for example, around NZ$15,000 toward first-year tuition for the undergraduate scholarship). Students from eligible countries can alternatively pursue fully funded study via the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships
