About this scholarship

The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme supports outstanding students from developing and emerging economies who wish to pursue graduate studies at the University of Oxford. Scholars join a vibrant leadership program.

How to Apply

  • Be an outstanding graduate or early-career professional ordinarily resident in an eligible developing/emerging-economy country, with clear leadership potential and a commitment to return home to make a difference
  • Be applying for (and offered a place on) one of the eligible one-year master's courses at Oxford (DPhils are not eligible); current Oxford students and deferred-offer holders are not eligible
  • Submit your Oxford graduate course application by the course deadline (often December/early January), select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme in the funding section, and submit the WHT scholarship statement; covers full fees plus a living grant and a leadership programme
