• Be a non-Chinese citizen in good health meeting XJTU's international-admission and age requirements (roughly under 25 for undergraduate, 35 for master's, 40 for PhD), not already holding another Chinese scholarship
• For the Chinese Government Scholarship, register on the CSC online application system (studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) under the University channel (Type B) using XJTU's agency number (10698) and simultaneously apply through XJTU's international student application system, uploading your highest diploma, transcripts, a study plan or research proposal, two recommendation letters, and a physical examination form by the deadline (around late March/April); PhD applicants are encouraged to secure a supervisor's pre-acceptance
