    Arqus Talent Scholarship Details

    The Arqus Talent Scholarship seeks talented graduates and students aiming to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral Degree at one of the Arqus partner universities, including a compulsory mobility at a second Arqus partner. Partner universities include Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw.

    Priority is given to refugees/asylum seekers, students with fewer opportunities, and applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree not obtained at the Arqus university where they will undertake their Master’s or doctoral studies.

    Eligibility Requirements for study in Europe

    To be eligible for the Arqus Scholarship 2024, applicants must:

    • Be selected or have applied for a Master’s or Doctoral program at one of the Arqus universities.
    • Have a minimum overall/average grade of B according to the ECTS grading system.
    • Have a clear idea of how mobility at a second Arqus university can be integrated into their study program, elaborated in their motivation statement.
    • Have a clear idea of how to participate actively in Arqus activities and act as an Arqus Ambassador.
    • Meet the admission requirements of the partner universities.

    Applicants who already receive a state scholarship can also apply and will not be excluded.

    Benefits to study in Europe

    The scholarship provides:

    • A subsistence allowance to cover living costs, medical insurance, and materials: €1,400.00/month.
    • Coverage of tuition fees at the student’s entrance university for the scholarship’s duration.
    • A special needs fund: €250/month.

    The scholarship duration is:

    • Master students: Up to the regular duration of the chosen Master’s program (maximum 12, 18, or 24 months).
    • Doctoral students: Maximum 36 months.

    Applicants must submit the following documents:

    • Confirmation of application to the entrance university.
    • Motivation statement.
    • PhD research proposal (doctoral students only).
    • BA/MA diploma/degree certificate.
    • Transcript of records/diploma supplement.
    • Letter of recommendation.
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
    • Passport.
    • Proof of being a student with fewer opportunities (if applicable).
    • Language Certificate (if applicable).
