The Rhodes Scholarship at the University of Melbourne is open for applications starting June 3, 2024, with a deadline of August 12, 2024. This scholarship offers 100% fee remission and an annual stipend of approximately AUD$37,000.
Established in 1903, the Rhodes Scholarship is the world’s oldest and most prestigious international scholarship program. Each year, nine scholarships are awarded to Australians for graduate study at the University of Oxford.
Fully Funded scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Rhodes Scholarship in UK, applicants must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. Applications from refugees/asylum seekers currently residing in Australia are also accepted.
- Have completed at least two years of schooling at an Australian secondary school.
- Be aged between 18 and 24 years on October 1, 2024 (born after October 1, 1999, and on or before October 2, 2006).
- Have completed or will complete an undergraduate degree by July 2025 with an academic record meeting the specific entry requirements of the chosen course at the University of Oxford. A GPA of at least 6.75/7 or equivalent is expected.
