Student life

Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos host most universities in the Republic of Cyprus. Summers are long and very hot, winters are mild, and buses are limited, so many students walk or share rides. Part-time work for non-EU students is restricted to set hours and sectors. The island is divided, and universities in the north follow a separate system, so check how your home country recognises their degrees before you apply there.
