Student life

Harare and Bulawayo host the main campuses, including the University of Zimbabwe and the National University of Science and Technology. Zimbabwe introduced the ZiG currency in April 2024, but the US dollar is still used for most everyday prices, so carry small dollar notes and confirm how fees must be paid. Living costs are moderate, and power cuts are common. The climate is mild, and Victoria Falls and Hwange are the main trips.
