Eligibility Criteria for TechWomen Program
To be eligible for the 2025 TechWomen Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Experience: At least two years of full-time work in STEM fields. (Internships or unpaid work are not considered.)
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- English Proficiency: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Residency: Citizens and permanent residents of the following countries are eligible:
Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe. - Visa Eligibility: Should qualify for a U.S. J-1 exchange visitor visa.
- Restrictions: Applicants must not hold U.S. citizenship or have applied for U.S. immigration (except for the visa lottery) in the past five years.
