It is known for aerospace engineering, avionics, space science, and materials science and engineering, alongside electrical and mechanical engineering programs. Teaching is in English, and undergraduate admission is through the institute's own entry test. The institute is small and specialised, which suits students set on aerospace or space-related careers.
