Kathmandu University
Why study here
Kathmandu University is an autonomous, not-for-profit university founded in 1991, with its main campus at Dhulikhel, in the hills east of Kathmandu. It runs schools of engineering, science, management, arts, education, law and medical sciences, and its medical programs are linked with Dhulikhel Hospital. Teaching is in English, which makes it accessible to students from outside Nepal. Living costs in Nepal are low, and the Dhulikhel campus is quieter than the capital.
