Why study here

The University of Giessen, officially Justus Liebig University Giessen, is a public university in central Hesse, founded in 1607. It is known for veterinary medicine, agricultural and nutritional sciences, and medicine and the life sciences, with a university hospital in the city. Teaching is mainly in German, with some English-taught master's programs. Giessen is a small student city with lower living costs than nearby Frankfurt, and public universities in Hesse charge no general tuition fees.
