Before Applying
Prepare your motivation letter and résumé before starting the application process, as you will have only one hour to complete it. Ensure your contact details remain valid for the next six months and apply using either English or French. If your documents are not in these languages, provide an unofficial translation.
Please note, the UNESCO Internship Program does not offer financial compensation or remuneration for internship assignments. While eligibility does not guarantee placement due to the competitive nature of applications, being selected for an internship is a significant achievement. Your application will be accessible to UNESCO managers worldwide and remain in our internship portal for six months. Due to the volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted.
What to Expect
Interns at UNESCO will have the chance to work under the guidance of experienced professionals, contributing to projects and activities that make a real difference in the world. Throughout the internship, participants will engage in the preparation of specific projects or, equally important, the day-to-day operations of UNESCO. This hands-on experience not only enriches academic knowledge but also enhances skills in various areas, including research, writing, organizational strategy, and communication.
