2.1 Information you give us
When you submit one of our forms (contact, free profile review, newsletter signup, scholarship help, service inquiry, evaluation request) we collect what you choose to share. This typically includes:
- Your name and email address
- Phone number (if you provide one)
- Your country, academic background, field of interest, target intake, and budget (if you share them in the form)
- The message you send us
2.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically log basic technical data when you visit:
- IP address (used for spam and abuse prevention)
- Browser type, operating system, and screen size
- Pages viewed and approximate time on each page
- Referring URL (the site that linked you here)
- Approximate geographic location derived from your IP

3. How we use your information
- To respond to inquiries: answering your messages, providing the free profile review or service consultation you requested.
- To send you the newsletter: if you subscribe, we send weekly scholarship and study abroad updates.
- To deliver paid services: if you purchase SOP review, profile evaluation, mock interview, or visa support, we use your information to provide those services.
- To improve the site: we look at aggregate usage data to understand which content is helpful.
- To prevent abuse: we use IP-based rate limiting on forms to block spam and automated submissions.
- To comply with the law: we may retain or disclose data when required by valid legal process.
4. Marketing and newsletter
We only send marketing emails to people who have opted in (through the newsletter signup or by checking a marketing box on a form). Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@scholyhub.com to opt out.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with the third-party services we use to operate the site, and only what they need:
- Hosting (Hostinger): stores the website and your form submissions.
- Email delivery: sends transactional and newsletter emails.
- Analytics: shows us aggregate, anonymized site usage.
- Payment processor (for paid services only): processes your payment. We do not store card numbers ourselves.
We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of ScholyHub and its users.
6. How long we keep your data
- Inquiry messages: retained for up to 3 years for service quality and follow-up purposes.
- Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe.
- Paid service records: retained for 3 years after service completion (for tax and dispute purposes).
- Server logs: retained for up to 90 days.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”). We will do so within 30 days, unless we are legally required to keep it.
- Restriction or objection: ask us to stop processing your data for specific purposes.
- Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS). Form submissions are protected by anti-spam measures and rate limiting. While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry best practices to protect your information. If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
9. International data transfers
ScholyHub is operated from Pakistan. Some of our service providers process data in other jurisdictions including the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards.
10. Children’s privacy
ScholyHub is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact privacy@scholyhub.com and we will delete it.
11. Third-party links
Our site links to external websites (universities, scholarship organizations, application portals). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Read their policies before sharing personal data with them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
