Refund Policy

We do our best to keep this plain and honest. If something is unclear, ask us.

The short version

If you cancel a paid service within 48 hours and no work has begun, you get a full refund. Between 48 hours and 7 days you may be eligible for a 50% refund if minimal work has started. After 7 days, or once substantial work has been delivered, refunds are not issued. We do not refund based on the outcome of an application (admission, scholarship, or visa decision), because those decisions are not ours to make.

1. Scope of this policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid consultancy services purchased through ScholyHub. This includes:

  • Statement of Purpose review and editing
  • Profile evaluation and shortlisting
  • Mock interview preparation
  • Full application package support
  • Visa documentation and pre-departure support
  • Custom packages (subject to the specific agreement signed at purchase)

This policy does not apply to free site features such as browsing scholarships and universities, using filters, reading blog content, or subscribing to the newsletter, since those are free.

2. Refund eligibility

2.1 Full refund (100%)

You are entitled to a full refund if:

  • You cancel within 48 hours of purchase AND no consultancy session, document review, or service delivery has commenced.
  • ScholyHub is unable to assign a suitable consultant within 5 business days of purchase.
  • A duplicate charge or technical error resulted in an unintended payment.
  • ScholyHub cancels the service due to circumstances on our end.

2.2 Partial refund (50%)

A 50% refund may be issued if:

  • You cancel between 48 hours and 7 days of purchase, and service delivery has not gone beyond the initial intake conversation.
  • The service was only partially delivered due to ScholyHub’s inability to complete it, through no fault of yours.

2.3 No refund

Refunds are not issued in the following situations:

  • More than 7 days have passed since purchase
  • A substantive consultancy session (intake call, profile review, or document drafting) has been completed
  • A statement, CV, or application document has been drafted or delivered
  • You received an admission offer, scholarship outcome, or visa decision (positive or negative). Outcomes do not affect refund eligibility.
  • You failed to provide required documents or information within the agreed timeframe, resulting in delays
  • You changed your mind about studying abroad after service delivery began
  • Dissatisfaction with the outcome of an application (we provide guidance, not guarantees)

3. Outcomes are not guaranteed

ScholyHub provides consultancy, guidance, and support. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including:

  • Admission to any university or program
  • Receipt of any scholarship or financial aid
  • Approval of any visa application
  • Interview invitations
  • Specific academic or career outcomes

A refund will not be issued solely because a university rejected your application, a scholarship was not awarded, or a visa was denied. Those decisions are made independently by third-party institutions and government authorities.

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email support@scholyhub.com with the subject line “Refund Request – Your Full Name”.
  2. Include: your full name, email used at purchase, order or transaction reference, the date of purchase, and the reason for your request.
  3. We acknowledge requests within 2 business days.
  4. We review and communicate a decision within 5 business days.
  5. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days back to the original payment method.

You may also reach us via WhatsApp at +1 (669) 499-4372 for urgent queries, but formal refund requests must be submitted by email for documentation purposes.

6. Payment method and currency

  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Currency conversion is handled by your bank or payment provider.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
  • ScholyHub is not responsible for currency conversion losses or bank processing delays.
  • If you paid via bank transfer, refund processing may take longer depending on your financial institution.

7. Service credits

In some cases we may offer service credits equal to the refund value as an alternative to a monetary refund. Service credits can be applied to future consultancy services, are valid for 12 months from issuance, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. You may decline a credit offer and request a monetary refund instead, subject to the eligibility terms above.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact support@scholyhub.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving genuine disputes quickly and fairly. Filing a fraudulent chargeback for a service that was properly delivered is a violation of our Terms of Service.

9. Custom packages

Custom consultancy packages have individually negotiated terms. Refund conditions for custom packages are specified in the service agreement signed at the time of purchase. If no specific agreement exists, the standard terms above apply.

10. Modifications

ScholyHub reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect from the date posted on this page. For purchases made before a change, the policy version in effect at the time of purchase applies.
