Shell Assessed Internship

The Shell Assessed Internship is an 8-to-12-week paid placement where the internship itself is the assessment for a graduate offer: perform well on your scoped project and presentations, and the graduate job can follow without further recruitment rounds. Programs run across Shell’s markets, with strong local intakes in Nigeria, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, the Gulf, the Netherlands and the UK.

Country windows mostly open in autumn for the following summer on the students portal, followed by online tests and interviews. For energy-minded engineering and commercial students, it is one of the highest-conversion internships in the sector.

• Penultimate-year and final-year students in engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical, petroleum), geosciences, data science, finance, commercial and supply chain fields.
• Country programs hire locally in many markets, giving students in Nigeria, Pakistan, Malaysia, India, the Gulf and Europe direct routes.
• Strong academics plus the capacity to handle Shell's assessment process.
• Work authorization follows each country posting, with local programs designed for local students.
