AFRICANS RISING Fellowship

AFRICANS RISING is a pan-African movement offering fellowships for emerging African leaders to pursue advanced education and leadership training. The program connects passionate young Africans working on democracy, human rights, and sustainable development with world-class educational institutions and a continent-spanning community of changemakers.

• African citizens aged 18-30
• Demonstrated commitment to African transformation through activism, community leadership, or professional work
• Strong academic background
• English or French proficiency (program languages)
• Must be working on issues related to democracy, human rights, or sustainable development

• Full costs of educational program at partner institution
• Monthly living stipend
• Travel costs
• Access to AFRICANS RISING continental community
• Mentoring from experienced African leaders
• Participation in annual pan-African summit

• Valid passport (min 6 months validity)
• Bachelor's degree certificate and transcripts
• Two academic reference letters
• English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+)
• Updated CV/Resume
• Statement of purpose / Motivation letter
• Proof of financial capability (if applicable)
