Chevening Scholarships 2027/28 (UK Government)
About this scholarship
Chevening is the UK government’s flagship international scholarship, fully funding a one-year master’s degree at any UK university for emerging leaders from over 160 eligible countries and territories. Around 1,500 awards are made globally each year.
Beyond funding, Chevening is known for its alumni network and the access it gives scholars to UK institutions, events, and professional communities. Selection is holistic: leadership potential, networking ability, and a clear plan to use the degree back home matter as much as grades.
Applications for the 2027/28 cycle are expected to open in August 2026 and close on 7 October 2026, so start preparing your four essays and references now.
