About this scholarship
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMDs) are prestigious, integrated study programs delivered by international consortia of European and non-European universities. Students study in at least two different European countries and receive a joint or multiple degree upon completion. The EU funds full scholarships for the best students worldwide. Over 350 programs are available across virtually every academic field. Programs typically last 1-2 years. This is one of Europe’s most competitive and prestigious international scholarship programs. New program calls open from October 2026.
Eligibility
- Open to all nationalities worldwide
- Must hold a bachelor's degree or expect to graduate before the program start date
- Must meet the specific academic requirements of the chosen program
- Must demonstrate strong academic achievement
- Must meet English language requirements (typically IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+, but varies by program)
- Cannot apply to more than three different Erasmus Mundus programs in the same academic year
- Must not have previously received an Erasmus Mundus scholarship
