Eligibility

Outstanding academic record (First Class Honours or equivalent). Strong research proposal. All nationalities welcome. Must be applying for a full-time PhD.

How to Apply

  • Open to new PhD applicants of any nationality with a strong academic record and research potential
  • First secure an Imperial supervisor willing to support your project
  • Submit your PhD admission application through Imperial's online admissions system and select the President's PhD Scholarship in the funding section (with a personal statement, research proposal, and two academic referees)
  • The department shortlists and a College panel selects; applications are reviewed in rounds across the year
