About this scholarship
The MEXT Teacher Training Scholarship supports active school teachers from developing countries to conduct educational research at Japanese universities for 1.5 years. This program is ideal for Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and other South Asian educators seeking to improve their teaching skills and bring back innovative approaches. The program includes Japanese language training and hands-on experience in Japanese schools.
Eligibility
Must be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan. Must be an actively employed teacher at a primary or secondary school. Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree. Must have at least 5 years of teaching experience. Must be under 35 years of age. Must be willing to learn Japanese. Must be in good physical and mental health.

How to Apply

- This is a non-degree teacher-training programme at a Japanese university
