Türkiye Diyanet Foundation Scholarship 2027

The Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) offers scholarships to international students, particularly from Muslim-majority countries in South Asia, Central Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Turkish universities. The scholarship covers all expenses and includes Turkish language training. Turkey offers high-quality education with a fascinating blend of Eastern and Western culture.

Open to international students from all countries (priority given to Muslim-majority nations). Must be under 21 (undergraduate), 30 (Master's), or 35 (PhD) years of age. Must have strong academic performance. Must be medically fit. Must not hold Turkish citizenship.

• Be a non-Turkish national (Turkish/dual citizens are ineligible) with strong academic results (e.g. a high-school GPA of at least about 70% for undergraduate theology), a clean disciplinary/criminal record, not currently studying in Turkiye at the same level, and not previously dismissed from a Diyanet scholarship
• Apply to study Islamic sciences/theology (the programmes cover International Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, International Undergraduate Theology, and International Graduate Theology)
• Apply online via the TDV scholarships portal (diyanetburslari.tdv.org) by the deadline (around late February), uploading the required documents; shortlisted candidates are interviewed. Fully funded: tuition, monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, and round-trip airfare
