• Completed secondary education for bachelor's, or a relevant bachelor's degree for master's
• Proof of Arabic for Arabic-taught programs, or English for English-taught programs
• Academic transcripts and certificates, translated and attested where required
• Valid passport and an admission or acceptance letter from the institution
• Proof of funds and a student visa or residence permit where applicable

Bahrain is small, relatively liberal by regional standards, and connected to Saudi Arabia by a causeway. Most private institutions teach in English. The island is easy to navigate, and living costs are lower than in Qatar or the UAE.
