Study in Bahrain

• Student visa and residence permit, sponsored by your institution through Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) after you are admitted
• No fixed funds figure is published; the institution will ask for proof that you can pay tuition and living costs
• There is no post-study work route; graduates who find a job need an employer-sponsored work permit through the LMRA

• A completed secondary school certificate for bachelor's, and a relevant bachelor's degree for master's

Bahrain is a small island state, and its universities are in and around Manama, Isa Town and Sakhir, with private institutions teaching mostly in English. Distances are short, but buses are the only public transport, so many students use taxis or ride-hailing apps. Summers are very hot and humid, and the causeway to Saudi Arabia makes regional travel easy for those with the right visa. Living costs are lower than in Qatar or the UAE, though rents in Manama can be high.
