Study in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Student visa required. Apply with your admission letter and proof of funds after you are accepted.

• Completed secondary education for bachelor's, or a relevant bachelor's degree for master's
• Proof of Bosnian for locally taught programs, or English for English-taught programs
• Academic transcripts and certificates, translated and attested where required
• Valid passport and an admission or acceptance letter from the institution
• Proof of funds and a student visa or residence permit where applicable

Sarajevo is compact, mountainous and inexpensive, with a layered Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian history visible along a single street. The 1984 Olympic ski slopes are half an hour from the centre. The higher education sector is small, so check program recognition with your home authority before committing.
